¶ And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.¹⁵ ¶ And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.¹⁶ ¶ But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.¹⁷ ¶ And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.¹⁸
